Who may apply

Applicants must have experienced the death of a parent or parental guardian before graduating from high school. Eligible applicants are either graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled in an eligible college, university, trade school, or vocational program within five years of high school graduation.
Selection Criteria

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on:

  • Personal resilience and perseverance
  • Clarity of educational and career goals
  • Demonstrated character and responsibility
  • Academic effort and commitment
  • Quality and sincerity of the personal statement

Financial need may be considered but is not required unless stated otherwise.

  • Application Opens: November 1st, 2026
  • Application Deadline: January 30, 2027
  • Recipient Notification: March 15, 2027
  • Funds Disbursed: May 2027
