At Joyful Ventures, we believe that bringing people together is the most powerful way to spread hope. Our charity events in Lubbock are designed to be fun, family-friendly, and deeply impactful. Every registration fee and sponsorship dollar goes directly toward our mission of supporting breast cancer research, NKH awareness, and our new scholarship fund for students who have lost a parent. Whether you are a competitive runner, a casual walker, or a marksman, our events offer a way for everyone to contribute to a legacy of joy.
Annual 5K Run & Family Joy-Walk
The Experience: This is our signature event! The 5K is chip-timed for competitive runners, while the 1-Mile Joy-Walk is perfect for families, strollers, and those who want to take a scenic stroll for a cause.
Morning Highlights: After the race, stick around for our famous Pancake Breakfast (included with registration!), a vendor fair featuring our local sponsors, and face painting for the kids.

Inaugural Clay Shoot – August Event

The Cause: This exciting new addition to our calendar is specifically focused on raising funds for our Student Scholarship Program.
The Mission: We are raising money to grant scholarships to high school seniors or recent graduates who have experienced the loss of a parent. This event combines sport and service to help the next generation reach their educational goals despite the hardships they’ve faced.
Details: Whether you are an expert shooter or a beginner, this event features a day of competition, networking, and community building.
